A Beginner's Guide to CBD
I am a CBD oil baby, ok maybe a toddler at this point, and I wish I would have found this product years and hundreds of ibuprofen tablets ago.
I had a friend make a post on Facebook about CBD oil in February 2018. She mentioned that it helps relieve headaches. So, I messaged her fairly skeptical, she sent me the information, and then she put a sample of some CBD oil in the mail for me.
My first of two questions for her was, are you a drug dealer? HA!
Second question: “Is this legal?”- Are we about to be arrested because you’re in Utah and I’m in Idaho, and marijuana isn’t legal in either state.
Last question: “What else does this oil help with besides headaches?”.
First, let’s address the legality of CBD based products.
CBD, cannibidiol, is one of over a 100 cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. It has incredibly powerful healing properties, and it is completely safe, legal, and it won’t get you high (nor does it contain properties that can get you high). When CBD is extracted from the plant, the end result is a product that contains all of the good stuff from a plant with a bad rap, without any of the bad stuff.
CBD based products are legal in all 50 states under Section 7606 of the Farm Bill (FIND IT HERE).
My next question was, “how does it work?” I will try to make this as simple as possible:
CBD enhances and strengthens a variety of physiological processes that are already occurring in the body. CBD oil is like the hype girl for a lot of the body’s natural processes and defense systems.

The sample came in the mail, my headaches disappeared, I started telling all of my friends and family about this awesome new discovery, and the rest is history.
